Freelance

This picture was snapped by a tech lead while I was mid flow in a presentation to a group of Solutions Architects and tech leads on the logical data flow through a Hybris eCommerce solution for T.K.Maax based on a collection of about 100 stock user stories.

Since 1979 I have been into IT, and from 1985 I have been providing business and IT services to many companies within variant sectors.

I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Southampton, where computing on a VAX was covered.  During this time I wrote my first commercial software on a ZX Spectrum at home and sold it to Amway Distributors.

I started work in business, becoming the youngest ever office manager in Shipping and Freight forwarding within E W Taylor Group, migrated into logistics with a marketing company, becoming head of IT and supply chain within Bio-concepts, from where I eventually migrated to a freelance Analyst/Programmer, Lead Developer, Business and technology Consultant, Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager, Programme Manager and other roles.

There have been some significant highlights such as working for Robbie Williams, taking over Citi Group tower, 2 failed and one successful startup and being the interim head of Professional services for a Digital Consultancy.

I have been around a bit. Too much to detail here, so I have created a page where all my projects are detailed as a blog so it is time-lined, searchable and filterable.

My Freelance pricing varies according to role and location.  I am flexible, tend to gravitate to Business Analysis roles, but am happy at the technical coal face and in the business ivory tower.

Please get in contact with me to discuss the detail of what you require.
