I worked at Bioconcepts from April 1992 up to Jan 1996
Bioconcepts were a marketing company primarily which supplied heath and skin care products to major retailers such as Boots, through to direct retail sales. They were one of my commercial tenants from the previous role.
I was headhunted from my previous employer once they knew I had resigned. I headed the national and international distribution, stock management of their products and the supplier management from the manufacturers.
I put many systems and processes in place along with automation and management information such that the company was able to efficiently get to an ideal Just In Tim (JIT) methodology.
I also put in place mail order capability and managed a staff of 8 dealing with shipment and replenisment.
