IT Workers

I worked at Bioconcepts from April 1992 up to Jan 1996

I was brought on to manage their supply chain, however I had a significant experience with IT compared with most at that time and I quickly ended up heading up the IT for the company

I learned the business database programming language DataEase and applied it to the warehousing stock control, dispatch notes, mail order and invented interfacing into our courier, and the company's financial package Tetra 2000.

I also wrote from scratch a management system to enable multi-level marketing of their skin care products and mail order functions for direct sales.

Through this integration and automation it was not long before I was managing the Management Information Systems creating management reports from data and enabling sales forecasting from trend analysis.

I also supplied IT support of the office for their accounting, word processing, spreadsheets, servers, api integration and lan and wan networking, working closely and engaging 3rd party IT suppliers.
